At Arctic Dog Adventure Co. our focus is on providing dog sled adventures that are challenging but empowering, no matter your gender. However, as a woman-led company, we are well aware of the pressures unique to women adventurers and look to offer a relaxed, supportive environment in which women-identifying travelers can learn dog sledding from a female leader and connect with like-minded travelers.

Lead Guide & Company Owner, Lisbet Norris, is a three-time-finisher of the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, and an excellent & compassionate teacher who loves sharing her sport and passion for huskies with others.

WOMEN'S ARCTIC MUSHING ADVENTURE
Experience the magic of the Arctic in April, with long days, lingering sunsets, snow-capped mountains, hidden mammoth tusks, migrating caribou, and shimmering spring aurora on this 5-day transformational dog sledding adventure.

Our destination is an off-grid boutique wilderness retreat center situated between the mountains of Gates of the Arctic National Park and the banks of the Koyukuk River in the historic gold rush community of Wiseman, Alaska. Here, in this spectacular location, is where we will base the next few days of dog sledding & adventure coaching.
Group and individual coaching are woven into each day of dog sledding. We will equip and empower you with the knowledge to drive your own sled dog team and teach you the tools to feel confident in both the outdoors and your personal life. Unplug from daily life, connect with nature, and find inner peace. Leave feeling empowered, revitalized, and refreshed.

WOMEN-ONLY HUT TO HUT MUSHING ADVENTURE
Women only! This dog sledding trip is perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to mush a team of dogs in a women-led space. Explore the Alaskan backcountry, sleep indoors, see the northern lights, and experience amazing scenery while spending most of the day with our Siberian Huskies.

This six-day cabin-to-cabin trip travels a scenic trail through the remote, pristine wilderness of the White Mountains National Recreation Area. A Northern extension of the Rocky Mountains, the White Mountains are marked by rolling black spruce forest, rocky limestone cliffs, open river valleys, and mountain ridges adorned with mystical black granite tors. Stay at beautiful log cabins dotted at regular intervals along the route.

This woman's only trip offers adventure-seeking women an opportunity to travel in a supportive all-female environment, connect with other like-minded women and learn new skills in a safe, non-judgmental space.
