LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY & KIDS

Our kennel visit is considered easy, but the terrain around our property is uneven and not wheelchair accessible.

Kids LOVE this experience (and we love kids!). This visit is suitable for families of all ages.

Children under 6 are not allowed in the dog yard (we will bring the dogs to them). Children under 12 are not allowed in the dog yard without a parent or guardian. Babies and toddlers must come in a backpack carrier.

Non-ambulatory kids in backpacks are free, all other kids are full price. It takes a high level of awareness, risk management and experience to monitor kids AND high energy sled dogs.

KENNEL VISIT TESTIMONIALS

This was an AMAZING activity!  Definitely book this experience if you have even the slightest love for dogs.  Lisbet is a wealth of information about the area and the history of sled dogs, and she’s genuinely interested in her guests’ hometowns, so it was wonderful to have conversation with her.  Overall a wonderful value.
