WOMEN ONLY TRIPS
There is a special kind of magic in women-only tours.
At Arctic Dog Adventure Co. our focus is on providing dog sled adventures that are challenging but empowering, no matter your gender. However, as a woman-led company, we are well aware of the pressures unique to women adventurers and look to offer a relaxed, supportive environment in which women-identifying travelers can learn dog sledding from a female leader and connect with like-minded travelers.

Lead Guide & Company Owner, Lisbet Norris, is a three-time-finisher of the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, and an excellent & compassionate teacher who loves sharing her sport and passion for huskies with others.

From six-day backcountry traverses to more relaxing basecamp retreats with adventure coaching, Arctic Dog Adventure Co. has something for all womxn.

Join us on this all-inclusive dog sledding adventure above the Arctic Circle near Gates of the Arctic National Park!

Explore the tundra and creek valleys surrounding our Arctic Basecamp, situated just outside Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve. Search for dropped caribou antlers on our daily forays up into the mountains. If we are lucky, the sun will shine bright late into the evening, inviting long lunches with warm afternoon naps on the sleds, and fresh outdoor dinners with sunglasses still needed.
Though the sun barely drops below the horizon by mid-April, there is still opportunity late at night to watch the aurora cut through the late evening twilight, dancing overhead in the giant Arctic sky.
